The main goals of the Challenge Camerounais are: to portray Cameroon in its diversity as well as to promote a feeling of attachment of Cameroonians living in Germany to their homeland and the integration of Cameroonians in Germany. Furthermore, it aims to promote German-Cameroonian cooperation and exchange in the area of science, economics, social activities and culture.

Indeed, with the introduction of the “Challenge Business and Social Forum” in the year 2006, the Challenge Camerounais has been playing a major role in promoting economic exchange and business networking. This forum, one of the biggest in its kind out of Cameroon, is an excellent opportunity for Cameroonians living in Germany and its neighbourhoods to get informed about the economic and social situation in Cameroon and the state of German-Cameroonian economic relations. It is a place to establish relations between Cameroonian and German business professionals and to get first hand information on employment and business opportunities in Cameroon.
